I sit here wondering what I should write about and so, as I do on many occasions, I ask my spirit guides. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be in my head, I’ll let you eavesdrop. Here is what my spirit guides say when I ask what to write:

There are many things you can do with your intuition, one of them is making better choices. It can help you find a clear way when you are bombarded with fear and indecision. Your gut is not the only indicator. When your gas tank is empty do you ignore the warning lights? Why then would you turn a blind eye to all the nuances of your intuition? It’s your internal guidance system that can alleviate the need to use your brakes so much when going on that journey of life.

This blog looks like it’s going to be about making better choices through your intuition. My guides tell me to tell you that it takes practice.

Once you’ve shut your warning light off a few times, your car will stall. Then you can get out and yell and scream at the circumstances or you can get back in the car and look through the owners manual (of life).

We have given you many manuals to choose from. I think they are referring to all the different spiritual and religious texts. It does not matter what kind of car you drive (what body you have incarnated in this lifetime). Every body obeys the rules of energetic mechanics. Learn to use yours wisely. Here are some tips.

1. Don’t eat meat unless you have to.

Really? Don’t eat meat unless you have to? Honestly guides? What about people who need to eat meat because it makes them feel better?

They should still cut down until it’s only needed.

This is going to be a funny blog. People are going to think I’m off my rocker.

If you wish we can relay this information in a different way. However, we do find that getting through life with a sense of humour is best. That brings us to point number two.

What’s point number two?

Trust your guidance. There will be those who will tell you what’s real and what isn’t. If someone is not sharing your body with you (here they mean if you aren’t channelling someone like in trance channelling) then how do they know how you feel? Don’t you trust your own feelings? Your intuition works the same way. It’s a muscle that needs to be used. Your intuition knows its own way. Trust it. It was built to never fail when left running properly.

And so my dear blog readers, that’s it. That’s a little snapshot of how I dialogue with my spirit guides when I write these blogs. Mostly, I work inspirationally, but sometimes my spirit guides give me word for word. I love them and I’m taking their advice and not deleting this blog post because it’s a little different than how I usually post.

You’ve shared some interesting stories with me about getting signs from your Spirit Guides. Did you know that passed loved ones in spirit can also give you signs?

I have one client who tells me she finds dimes in the laundry all the time. This is from a dear spirit who was very much like her mother to her. It’s the spirit’s way of saying that she is around and supporting her.

Other people find feathers and often in odd places. Sometimes it isn’t a physical object at all, but a song that is connected to that person.

I remember when a coworker died. His favourite song was Over the Rainbow. When his manager was driving home from his funeral, she wondered if he was around in spirit. She turned on the radio and guess what was playing?

My mom died when I was eleven. It’s been thirty years since her death. When she was alive, she used to do Japanese embroidery. I had two of her pieces on the wall in my bedroom.

It used to drive me nuts. I’d go into my room and the pictures were crooked. I’d straighten them, and then a few days later, they would be crooked again!

This was in my early thirties. Although it had been many years that had passed, my emotions were still too strong about her death and I could not connect with her spirit directly without feeling overwhelmed.

I did not clue into the fact that she was doing this until I went for a reading for myself and the medium told me that it was her tipping the pictures. She was trying to tell me – that she was still around me.

Because I’ve always wanted to connect with my mom’s spirit, I did lots of work on myself. In fact, I’ve been doing work on myself ever since my early twenties around this. Recently, I’ve been in a pretty good place, or so I thought until I realized it has been 30 years this year.

It seems like it was out of the blue, but I know this is part of the shift (bringing up all sorts of old unhealed parts of us so we can truly heal). All sorts of old emotions started to come up and show itself in different ways.

But then something happened this morning that changed everything for me.

I decided to do a meditation that activates the light body. When I was sitting in this beautiful light, I saw my mom standing in spirit just to the side of me.

She came at a younger age than when she passed and I was struck by her beauty and her happiness. She reached out, and in my mind’s eye I took her hand. I expected that we would go out travelling into the universe as this is what the light body meditation is for.

To my surprise, she dove right into my heart space. There she showed me a single flower growing. It was a daisy, a small white daisy. This was me.

Then she took my hand again and we went high up into the universe. I looked at her and she turned into an exquisite flower, complex and exotic. Then she changed back. I was sad.

I thought, wow, I’m just this little white daisy and mom is this amazing exotic flower. I felt so small. But my mom smiled at me and turned me around where I saw an enormous bouquet of flowers with all sorts of flowers and colours.

What drew me was one flower that stood out. It was a white daisy. It was shining and pure. I felt that the bouquet would not be complete without this small unassuming flower. I saw the beauty of it. And I knew then, that I was just as important and loved as all the other flowers.

My mom then said that I could be any flower I liked. She showed me inside her heart and I saw three or four white daisies growing in her heart! I understood. We have the free will to grow into anything we want to, but at the heart of us is the true essence.

So I tried. I turned myself into several different types of flowers, and you know what? None of them felt like me.

I came back from my meditation and thought maybe I should go buy a white daisy to meditate on so I could see it’s beauty. Then I thought, maybe someone will give me one.

I put everything out of my head and got ready for my first client. He came and sat down in front of me and said he had brought some things with him so I could do a prayer for him – some camphor, paan leaves, incense, flowers, and coconut.

Flowers? I began to smile. No, it couldn’t be, could it? He reached into the bag and pulled out four white daisies! Oh I laughed! I knew this was a sign from my mom. It was confirmation for me of her message.

Your spirit guides give you signs to let you know that you are on the right track or that they are around you. Your family in spirit can also give you signs. All you need to do is be open and ask.

I did a mediumship reading today with a new client. She wanted to connect with the spirit of her unborn baby. Unfortunately, this child never had the opportunity to be born. Where do the spirits of the unborn go? And is there a reason why they didn’t incarnate?

When my client was talking to me on the phone to book her appointment, I got the sense that this was a male child. The morning of the appointment, I got a couple of names coming through. I kept this in mind for our phone session.

Although she never knew the gender of her baby, this client had a strong feeling that it was male. And the names that I picked up on began with the same sound as the name she had chosen. Sometimes I get the beginning sounds of names, but sometimes I get the actual name itself. It depends on a few things – the energy of the spirit, if we are able to match vibrations well to communicate, and the openness of my client.

This child in spirit had no sadness, no guilt or anger. What came through was a gentle love. He first showed himself as a blue energy hovering around my client. Then he showed himself as a baby and a young man – what he would have looked like had he been born and grown up.

When a child does not complete the incarnation process – whether by choice of the mother or by other complications – the spirit of the child returns to the other side. Sometimes that spirit still visits us. Sometimes there will be another opportunity for this child to be born at a later time.

Just as we humans experience things in order to help us grow and transform, spirit also has its own agenda of experience for growth and transformation. Learning does not stop just because we transition to the other side.

There is a divine plan in place. From our human perspective, it is hard to understand why certain things happen. From a spirit perspective, all things are perfect.

There is a reason why this child was not born. Perhaps he wanted to experience the beginning of the process but was not meant to complete it. Perhaps it was for his mother’s benefit for her growth.

Either way, they will always be connected. They are part of the same soul group. They have incarnated together many, many times before. And, while she can learn to connect with him while she is alive, he will be there to greet her on the other side when she passes.

The separation is only an illusion although it may feel real as we are in this dense reality of human form. Love is the energy that connects us. It doesn’t matter if we are both in form, both in spirit, or one in form and one in spirit. The connection of love can never be broken.

Spirit Orbs in Egypt

Spirit orbs are balls of energy that show up in some of your photographs. Some people think that this is a spirit and other people say it’s just a speck of dust reflecting light. Have you ever seen spirit orbs in your photos? What does it mean if you see them around one person in particular?

According to some websites, you can create the right conditions for orbs to be captured. They do this with small dust particles or water droplets that are put into the atmosphere as the picture is being taken.

Are the orbs in your photos dust? Maybe. But then again, maybe not. Consider the following.

Spirit has an easier time working with electrical items. Your stereo, phone, computer, and digital camera. I think it has to do with frequencies and their resonance being either easily manipulated by spirit, or maybe they can change their vibrational frequencies to match.

My friend’s son decided he wanted to capture his spirit guide on camera. He asked his spirit guide to sit on the couch, and then he snapped a picture with his digital camera. There was an orb hovering right above the couch cushions, just like his guide was sitting there posing!

In many pictures of spiritual places – Mount Shasta, tombs in Egypt, stone circles in England, churches – there are many, many orbs in one picture. Is this because there are so many spirits attracted to these sites? Or are they all full of “dust and water particles”?

In one house clearing, I felt a spirit following me as I walked through the house. It was as if she was seeing what I was doing and waiting until I got to one particular room that was meaningful to her (where we crossed her).

As I snapped photos in the house, I could see most of them had an orb in them. Not more than one, but just one. Is it likely that most of the rooms had one speck of dust that showed up or is this the spirit of the woman?

Sometimes people ask me why spirit would show up as a round ball of energy rather than in full form. I think it’s because this is closer to their natural state. Or it could be that it’s easier for them to manifest in this state rather than form a full figure. I really don’t know.

Spirit orbs can be of varying colours – blue, white, pink, etc. Sometime people see geometrical patterns or what may look like faces in the orbs when they magnify the photo on their computer screen.

It also seems that these orbs may show up around a particular person in several photos. If this is a spirit, then it’s likely that the spirit is associated with them (family member or guide) or is attracted to them for a particular reason.

Whether they are all spirit orbs or if it’s really dust or water reflection, I’ll leave up to you. I’ve seen and felt too many things on the energetic level for me to believe that they are all dust particles. I believe that spirit shows itself to us in many ways using the technology at hand.

Sometimes we have people in our lives who are just wonderful loving people. Then there are those people who drive us insane. Ever wonder why we have certain people in our lives? Is it karmic? Is it just bad luck? Or maybe there’s a spiritual lesson to be learned.

Here are some thoughts on why they are there, and what you can do about it. Whether it’s friends, family, or coworkers that are driving you crazy, this may give you an understanding of what’s going on.

There are three main schools of thought as to why we have certain people in our lives. The first one is karma. Although karma means cause and effect — or you can think of it as action and consequence — karma has taken on a different meaning in some cultures.

Some people think of karma as punishment or reward for past deeds. These deeds may have been in this lifetime or they may have been in a past life or past lives. According to this thinking, you may have a horrible sister now because you have been horrible to her in a past life.

Sometimes it’s not person specific but situational. For example, maybe in a past life you were a thief and stole from people. So in this life, you may be swindled out of your money.

According to this school of thought, all of the people that you have difficulty with represent some sort of misdeed that you did. This viewpoint doesn’t resonate with me. I tend to see karma as true cause and effect, without the judgment attached to it.

The next school of thought comes from the new age movement. It goes like this. Before you reincarnate (or incarnate depending on your belief system), you decide what spiritual lessons you want to learn in a lifetime that you are about to enter.

Let’s say you decide to learn patience. You would approach someone in your soul group. “Hey, I want to learn some patience. Would you come down and incarnate with me? I need you to push my buttons.”

Then you might approach someone else in your soul group. Maybe you haven’t finished a lesson from your previous lifetime with this particular soul and you would like to see if you can have closure in the lifetime that you’re about to enter.

Once you have everything lined up and everyone is in agreement — and by the way, you’ll be helping them learn lessons as well — you reincarnate. But there is a catch. Once you’re in your body, you forget everything that you just arranged.

Because you can’t remember, you have no idea why that particular person pushes your buttons. And you don’t remember why this other person has such an effect on you because you don’t remember not finishing something in a past life with them.

The third school of thought has to do with the law of attraction. This view point says that people are in your life because you attract them. Remember that the law of attraction says that it’s your energy vibration that acts like a magnet.

Let’s say your energy vibration says that you see yourself as a victim. It’s not victims that you will attract to yourself, but bullies or circumstances that will confirm to you that you are a victim.

Once you change your core belief about being a victim, you will no longer attract these types of circumstances. Actually, that’s not true in my experience. The universe will test you just to make sure that you really don’t want to be victim. After you say no a few times and you’re pretty adamant about it, the universe will stop sending you situations that allow you to choose victim mentality.

In all of these cases, whether it be karmic, spiritual lessons, or law of attraction, the possibility of change lies within you. When you see the pattern, when you are self-aware, then you can make changes to your inner world. Changing your inner world is the first step in changing your external world, including your relationships.

Ever wonder why some relationships are so hard to let go? These people may have been out of your life for years but you still carry the emotional baggage. Or, it may be a relationship you want to keep, but would like to change the dynamic and how it affects you emotionally.

One thing that may help is to cut etheric cords. What are etheric cords and how do they form? How can you cut energy cords? And how can cutting etheric cords help change how you feel about the relationship?

Whenever we have a relationship with someone – friends, lovers, or family – there is a cord of energy that forms between us because of our emotions. Both healthy and unhealthy relationships form etheric cords. In unhealthy relationship dynamics, the other person may unconsciously deplete your energy (feed off you like a psychic vampire), have ill feelings toward you, or there may be a power imbalance between the two of you.

It is important to note that on some level you have given permission for this person to attach to you. Sometimes, it’s you that attaches to the other person. In either case, learning to cut etheric cords can help you to let go of emotions.

Before I became a full-time psychic and medium, I used to work in the non-clinical side of a hospital. We hired a woman who was on contract. From the beginning, this woman was very frustrating and horrible to work with. No matter how hard I tried, she just got under my skin. So one day I decided that I would do a cord cutting meditation.

At first when I visualized the cord being cut, it would reattach. I had to cut it several times until it would stay severed. When I finally did this, I saw her image turn away from me. But what was most interesting to me was what happened.

I noticed I did not have the same emotional reaction to her cutting the etheric cord. I had a little bit more detachment. Then, within a couple of days, she announced that she was leaving her position!

I have used this technique with people who were no longer in my life but with whom I was having trouble letting go. I have done this with people who are still currently in my life. Just because you cut the cord, does not mean that the relationship ends. That is up to you. It means that you are not allowing the old energy dynamic to continue.

The other person may feel a difference but not be able to put their finger on it. Sometimes, they will look for another person to “feed” off. Cutting the etheric cord gives you an opportunity to have boundaries and to create a new type of energetic dynamic.

So here’s how to cut etheric cords.

1. Find a comfortable place, relax, and close your eyes. In your mind’s eye, imagine the person standing across from you.

2. Next we are going to look all around your aura to see if there are any cords that are coming from you and going to this person. You may find that they attached directly to your body.

3. Now you’re going to imagine yourself cutting this cord. You can do this by using an imaginary pair of golden scissors, an angelic sword, or anything that you feel will do the job.

4. Imagine a bucket of white light, or a small opening that goes into white light energy. Take the end of their cord and put it into this light so that now they pull from source and not from your energy.

5. Take the end of your cord and pull it out of your body. When you let it go, it dissolves.

6. Now look at yourself where you pulled this cord out of and see if there is any healing in that area that needs to be done. Sometimes you may see a hole or some other damage there. If healing needs to be done, use your mind and visualize being completely healed.

7. Then let all the images fade from your mind’s eye.

That’s the entire sequence. You may need to do the cord cutting not only several times in one visualization, but several days in a row.

Note that no matter how many times you cut these etheric cords, if you are not ready to let go of this person emotionally or if you are okay on some level with them using your energy, the cords will reattach.

Cord cutting is one step of helping yourself to let go of relationships that no longer serve you or to change the dynamic of the energy of a relationship that you would like to keep in your life.

Recently I posted on Facebook that I’m seeing sequences of numbers and that I take this as a sign of being in the flow. Several people commented that they are also seeing sequences of numbers.

This has really ramped up the last couple of weeks. Every time I look at the clock it’s 11:11, 1:11 11:22, 2:44 or the like. In fact, in the last two weeks this has been happening at least 5 to 10 times a day.

It gives me great comfort. I feel like when I see these signs, I know that I’m on track with what the universe has aligned for me.

Since all of the solar flare activity, the full moon, and the three planets that are now retrograde, people around me who are energetically sensitive have been having trouble sleeping, and are feeling anxious for no reason. Old emotions are coming up. All of this is happening in response to energy shifts.

The last three days, my computer has also been acting a little funny. I’m in the middle of recording music for my second intuition development meditation CD. An odd thing happened. Instead of picking up the keyboard, I heard a very faint radio signal! Where this radio signal came from, I have no idea.

I view all of these discomforts and signs as necessary prerequisites for a shift in our collective consciousness. As the magnetic fields of the earth continue to weaken, I feel that we are being prepared to enter into a new phase of human development.

Just as the butterfly must squeeze out of its cocoon, we are also being squeezed right now. If you recognize that old emotions are coming up for a reason – to give you an opportunity to release them — then the squeeze will be a welcomed one.

Being in the flow also means that you are willing to let go. This is a really hard thing for many people to do, especially those of us who are type A personality or who come from a past where you are taught to be independent and thus very much in control.

To truly let go one must have faith. In order to have faith, there must be trust. In order to trust, there must be healing. And in order to heal, we have to be willing to go to some places emotionally where we haven’t been in a while, and to be absolutely truthful to ourselves.

This is what I’m working on in myself. In order to assist myself with the ascension shift, I have been doing meditation that activates my light body and should allow me to leave my body. There is much more to it than that, but that’s it in a nutshell.

After about three weeks of practice, I actually came out of my body by about half a foot! For me, that was a really wonderful achievement. I have trouble being able to let go to step out of my body. I felt elated!

And the next time I tried it . . . nothing. Pure blackness. No astral traveling. I was blocking myself. My fear of letting go was too great. So I started to do my own healing work. This technique may help you in your blocks as well.

As a Reiki master, I channeled through healing energy to each chakra. For each chakra, I went inward and asked that part of me that existed in that chakra to step forward. I noticed what emotion came when I met myself. And I looked at the belief systems that surrounded the me that I saw.

I was able to release some of the blocks. There is still work to be done. However, all healing takes patience and time. In the meantime, I still delight in seeing the synchronicity number sequences around me. And I still practice activating my light body and meditation.

As we all keep working toward ascension, it will get easier. There is a tipping point. When enough of us have raised our vibration to a higher level, it makes it so much easier for the rest do the same thing. In the meantime, keep in the flow, let go, and have faith.

I have a psychic friend whose sister was under an enormous amount of stress. Because of the stress, she developed what is called a psychotic break. To an outsider who is not psychic, it looked like she was talking to thin air.

To my friend, who is both a psychic and medium, he could perceive the spirits she was speaking to and the conversation she was having made sense. So is she psychic or mentally ill?

Yesterday I received a call from a man who was concerned about his wife. He wanted to know whether she was perceiving spirits psychically or if there was a spirit attachment to her. He told me that she had become so fearful of the spirits that her personality had changed and she refused to say what they were saying to her.

I have another spiritual friend who described to me the ups and downs of his emotions. I didn’t realize that he struggled with schizophrenia and was on medication. Unfortunately, he decided to go off of his medication. He started to get “psychic” messages that were quite disjointed and not attached to reality. He claimed he saw spirits that told him certain things which did not match with what was really going on around him.

Some people in the spiritual community believe that for some reason there is a tear or a rip in the aura that allows entities or spirits to influence people who are mentally ill. They are really accessing something that is out of our earthly realm. These spirits interfere with their emotions and thought processes.

Sometimes this may happen because of great stress in their lives. For example, the death of a loved one, a relationship break up, or other stressors. Inevitably, it’s accompanied by changes in brain chemistry – whether long term or temporary.

The key is that they do not have the proper coping tools or constitution to handle the stress and it results in dysfunctional thinking patterns and behaviours. They may or may not really be seeing or hearing spirits.

Being psychic does not mean that you become crazy. It’s important to realize that there are many spiritual and psychic people who are very grounded and sane. The point is that rather than jumping to a conclusion that there is a spirit interfering and going to many different psychics to try to remove it (or them), it’s better to seek professional help first.

Some prescribed drugs may block the perception of spirits so the person can lead a normal life. It may give people time to heal, as in the case of my friend’s sister. It may be needed for life, as in the case of my friend with schizophrenia.

So what happened to these people? My friend’s sister, was temporarily placed on medication, got some help and she came out of her psychotic break. She stopped seeing and hearing spirits. This was a good thing, as she was making poor choices because of it.

The call I received from the man was a little bit different. I suggested that he first consider ruling out any sort of mental health problem before resorting to contacting psychics. My concern was twofold — that she get the help that is both appropriate and effective for her, and that he avoid getting potentially scammed by psychics who would take advantage of this situation.

My friend who is schizophrenic must have hit bottom because the last I heard he is back on medication. It’s the only way, as far as I know, that he is able to function.

Perhaps one day science and spirituality will come up with a common understanding of mentally ill people so that we can work together. Until then, we must consider what is best for each person and not rule out there being a mental disturbance and/or energetic influence.

You might have heard of these waves of people being born over the past few decades. It began with what was called indigo children. These were special children who had abilities or particular sensitivities that were psychic in nature.

Indigo children were thought to have a specific purpose. Indigo children were meant to help to shift the vibrational frequency of the planet so that we would wake up to our true purpose and remember that we are all one. Could this be you?

The name indigo children comes from the fact that they have more of an indigo color in their aura. Indigo is the color of the third eye chakra and thus it is associated with clairvoyance or psychic seeing. It is believed that these children were born around the early 1970 up to mid 1980.

After the indigo children, there were many waves of other children who were born in different decades. These children were even more sensitive and psychic than the previous generation — at least that’s what we’re told. These children have been called rainbow children and crystal children.

These indigo children have now grown up and they would be in their 30s and 40s. The question is, are you an indigo adult? See if any of this resonates with you:

1. You are sensitive to energy and emotions of other people
2. You feel you do not fit in with your family or the general population
3. You have an urge to fulfill your life purpose although you may not know what that is
4. You have an interest in alternative or holistic healing or medicine
5. You have had spiritual experiences which may have started in childhood but not necessarily so
6. You have experienced psychic phenomenon — whether directly through your psychic senses or in your dream state

This list is from my observation. The other thing that I notice about these people is they have a particular energy signature. This vibration is a little bit different than the average person. You may have most of these but you don’t necessarily have to have experienced all of them in order to consider yourself an indigo adult.

Many indigo adults don’t understand why they are different. They may not be surrounded by spiritual people who understand their sensitivities to energy. They may not have access to training. So sometimes they feel overwhelmed by other people’s emotions because they don’t understand how to have energetic boundaries.

They may have gifts but they also don’t understand how to work with them. Many of my students are in the 30 to 40-year-old range and they are realizing that there is more to them than meets the eye. Some of them are drawn to Reiki energy healing, others to psychic ability. Either way, learning how to work with energy seems to help them function better.

Here’s something else to consider. Each and every one of you has the potential to expand into a being that is in complete alignment with source energy. In other words to step into joy, peace, psychic ability, the flow, etc. That’s what the shifts on the planet are all about.

Just because the new age movement has not given you a label yet does not mean that you are not valuable, have gifts, or have a particular purpose that is vital to how we evolve spiritually as a species. Each one of us is loved and important. We all have a part to play. What’s yours?

Some people will separate a psychic from a spiritual person. Unfortunately, this can be true. Just because you can give a psychic reading doesn’t mean you’re coming from a spiritual place. When I teach my students how to develop their psychic abilities, my real hope for them is that it will align them to a greater spiritual purpose.

I thought I would share with you my personal spiritual practice. This is what goes on in my head during the day and how I view the world these days. I’ll also share what type of meditation I’m doing for myself in order to enhance my psychic abilities and work at a higher level of vibration.

Most of my thoughts these days are about the ascension shift. We began 2012 with quite a fluctuation in the energy. It was hard to know where my emotions would land as sometimes the day would start out feeling one way and shift three or four times in one day. It always left me feeling unsettled and I had to adjust to the frequency vibrations as they changed.

That was most of January. Now we are coming toward the end of February and the energy has changed again. Rather than being up and down several times in a day like a sine wave, the energy has adjusted to a range of frequencies which feels much less like a roller coaster ride. This will not be the last shift. There will be many shifts to come.

My main concern is not to get dragged down by the negativity, the violence, and all the misinformation that’s being printed these days. I started out my journey many years ago being taught by somebody who was very much into psychic protection and negative energy. She believed there were forces that would try to stop those who were shining their light.

The old adage that what you focus on is what you create was very true for me in those days. My days were filled with fear. I would watch the sky filled with chemtrails and feel powerless. I surfed the Internet and learned about the illuminati and their control. I also was working on connecting with my spirit guides and opening up as a channel.

Later in my journey, I met another teacher that had a different viewpoint. Her viewpoint was that we are always protected as we are divine beings and there is no need to do any psychic protection. But by this time I had too many personal experiences with things that were not high vibrational energy and I knew that for myself, I needed to know how to protect myself and at the same time not dwell on negativity.

Fast-forward to today. Now my thoughts are about the ascension shift and 2012. I have been seeing many numbers and sequences — 11 : 11, 111, 555. These are on clocks and also license plates or even receipts. The number 1 in this kind of the sequence is about activation and a sign that you are aligned with the divine path. The number five is about change, and this is very appropriate for our times.

2012 is a five year (2+0+1+2=5). This is a year of change. For myself, I have been working at letting go of old relationships and all of the guilt, sadness, and anger that went along with that. I have also been trying to integrate patience into my own spiritual path. I can feel certain things coming for myself but I’m not being allowed to see what it is yet.

For the past 3 to 4 weeks I have been using a new meditation that focuses mainly on activating the light body and opening up the heart. At first it seemed that I was just getting used to the breathing, the mudras and the visualizations.

After three weeks I am getting vivid images and briefly I am able to travel with my mind. Ascension is about freeing the spirit and the mind from the body. When we are in this form we are free of the confinements of 3-D reality. It makes me question the concepts that I was taught about karma and having to experience certain things in order to learn lessons. Yes it is about growth but do we need to suffer in order to grow? Perhaps not.

Opening up the heart means that there is a different way to relate to everything around me. I am more in tune with the Earth as a living entity and what people, animals, plants, insects are feeling. It’s starting to fine-tune my psychic abilities. I find that I’m getting information that is resonating more with my clients.
